Personal background
Meera completed her Bachelors degree from Saginaw Valley State University in Saginaw, Michigan, U.S., after which she went on to work in New York in an advertising firm. She also worked at NDTV for couple of months in New Delhi. Soon, she got an offer to work in South Indian movies. The much talented actress is also managing her own hotel business in delhi and planning to branch out in entire india.
Film career
Nila's first film was Anbe Aaruyire (Ah Ahh) produced and directed by S.J. Suryah, in which he played the lead role. The movie was a big hit and she got an instant recognition in Tamil cinema. Later, she went on to do some Telugu movies. Her last telugu movie Vaana, was produced by an ace producer M. S. Raju, where her acting was highly appreciated. Jaganmohini is her recent movie.
