Shriya's exciting 2010

Shriya's exciting 2010

South India's glam doll Shriya Saran is already on a high with the success of Kutty. The lady started the new year with a bash and is currently wrapping up her upcoming film Chikku Bhukku with Arya, where she plays the role of Anu, a London returned lass.

Before Chikku Bhukku, the much hyped Jaggubhai will hit the screens; the movie was recently in the headlines for its piracy scandal. A Radaan-Zee production venture by veteran director K.S. Ravikumar, Jaggubhai is the story of an Interpol officer who goes to Australia to nab an elusive international criminal. Jaggubhai has a lot of death-defying stunt sequences, with the climax taking place in a helicopter being at the pinnacle.

The list doesn't end here; in Malayalam, the actress has recently finished shooting for Vande Mataram, where she stars opposite Mammootty. She is now working on Pramani and is going to begin work for Pokkiri Raja, both opposite Mammootty again.

In Tamil, she has Rowthiram with Jiiva kepping her busy. Shriya is not just a typical glamour doll of Kollywood; she is immensely talented, which has won her myriad film offers that would normally go to a more experienced actor. With a versatile personality that suits both traditional and fashionable wear, Shriya perfectly blends with her onscreen characters and is accepted by all types of cinemagoers. She has the substance of a mature actor which she puts to the best use in her forthcoming films.

Behind the fascinating success and beauty is a story of sleepless nights spent rehearsing for her film roles, dialogue delivery, practicing posing, soft skills, and days spent on sculpting a wonderful physique.
