After doing a girl-next-door act in many movies, Vimala Raman is all set to reveal a glamorous avatar in Gayam 2 opposite Jagapathi Babu and directed by Praveen Sri. Ilayaraja is the music director.
The actress recently wrapped up the shooting of Aptha Rakshaka with late Kannada superstar Vishnuvardhan. Speaking about the movie in a leading English daily, the actress said, “My knowledge of classical dance came handy for the role. Working with late Vishnuvardhan was a memorable experience.”
On her sexy new avatar, the actress said, “Hey, you can’t expect an NRI girl to wear traditional outfits. The role demanded the kind of clothes I wore. I wore a bikini for just a song sequence... it’s no big deal.” It is clear Tamil-Telugu-Malayalam actress Vimala Raman has also climbed the bikini bandwagon!
Vimala Raman will soon appear in a two-piece bikini in her next Telugu film Lover Boy, directed by V.N. Aditya, produced by Supreme Raju Harwani and Gogineni Srinivas with Tarun as hero.
Lover Boy was recently launched by mega star Chiranjeevi at Rama Naidu Studios, who gave the clap for the muhurat shot; D. Suresh Babu switched on the camera. Touted to be a romantic drama, the film is being picturised in foreign locations, including Bangkok and Malaysia. Vimala Raman was last seen in Varun Sandesh's Telugu flick Evaraina Epudaina.
